SrTiO3 (STO) single crystal provides a good lattice match to most of  materials with Perovskite structure.  It is an excellent substrate for epitaxial film of HTS and many oxide. Question:please couldyou confirm the process for making TiO2-termination on the SrTiO3 surface, is it with buffer acid or heat treatment?

Answer: Low concentration hydrofluoric acid corrosion, then deionized water cleaning, and then high temperature annealing
